Disruption Information

Storm Éowyn

Red, amber and yellow weather warnings for Storm Éowyn have been issued by the Met Office, from the evening of Thursday 23, through Friday 24 and into Saturday 25 January 2025.

Very strong winds and heavy rain across the north of England and throughout Scotland is likely to affect journeys to, from and via these areas. Stormy weather can severely impact the railway, with debris blown across the lines, slippery rails, power cuts and other treacherous conditions, leading to delays, diversions and cancellations.
