On Saturday 16th and Saturday 23rd November 2024, buses will replace trains from Colchester Town station as part of pre-planned engineering works. The replacement buses will pick-up and drop-off at the bus stop adjacent to the Colchester Magistrates' Court building.

When emergency rail replacement is in operation for service disruption, we arrange for local First Bus Group bus routes (61, 62, 65, and 66) to accept railway ticket holders between Colchester North station, Colchester Town station, and Hythe station.
