Oxford Tube

With a name like Oxford Tube you might be forgiven for thinking that you were going to take an escalator below ground and get on the London Underground. But it is the snappy name for the Stagecoach Bus Oxford to London route which runs modern and quick services into between London and Oxford at a dizzying frequency of a bus every ten minutes at peak times (and never less than 20 minutes apart). Oxford Tube operate a fleet of virtually brand new (operational from June 2014 and destined to be replaced within only a 5 year life cycle) VanHool TX Astromega coaches with a panoramic glass sun roof allowing more natural light into the seating areas. The coaches have enhanced leg room, 4G WIFI internet, USB ports and power sockets at the seats, extra luggage racks and an automate audio-visual system more akin to that found on trains.

Oxford Tube run buses to a variety of central london stops including Hillingdon, Shepherd's Bush, Notting Hill Gate, Marble Arch and Victoria and Gloucester Green Bus Station in Oxford
